Day 1 From Marrakech to Dades Valley
The tour begins with a prompt 8:30 am pickup. Our guide meets you directly at your accommodation.
We climb into the High Atlas Mountains, taking the winding road across the Tizi n'Tichka Pass at 2,260 m (7,415 ft) with a panoramic photo stop.
First stop: Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage ksar featured in Gladiator, The Mummy and Game of Thrones, followed by a relaxed lunch.
We continue to Ouarzazate – the 'gateway to the Sahara' – visit Taourirt Kasbah and pass Atlas Studios, then drive south through Skoura and the Valley of Roses to overnight in the Dades Valley.
-
Day 2 From Dades Valley to Erg Chebbi
After breakfast we follow the Dades road past kasbahs and palm groves, reaching Tinghir and the Todra Gorge where limestone walls rise about 300 m.
We walk the canyon, pause for mint tea by the river, then drive on to Erfoud to visit a fossil workshop showing Devonian ammonites and orthoceras.
By mid-afternoon we reach Merzouga. Camels are ready for a sunset ride into the dunes; at camp enjoy sandboarding, dinner and Berber music under the stars.
-
Day 3 From Merzouga Desert to Marrakech
Wake before dawn for sunrise over Erg Chebbi, return by camel for breakfast and a shower.
We head back along a different route through the Draa Valley palm groves and the Berber villages of N'kob and Agdz.
After lunch we cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass again and arrive in Marrakech by evening.

jinw857 From UK We have enjoyed our tour with this agency. The itinerary was well curated and the agency was transparent with the accommodation options. Our driver was Mr Younnes. He was punctual and drove with care. We were very comfortable in his car. Morocco is such a beautiful country.

claire_m From Canada My husband and I booked the 3-day private tour from Marrakech to Merzouga and it was the highlight of our trip. Crossing the High Atlas, stopping at Ait Benhaddou and the Todra Gorge, then riding camels into the dunes at sunset: every day felt different. The desert camp was cosy and dinner under the stars was unforgettable. Long drives, but our driver made them easy. Highly recommend.
